CHENEY, Wash.—The Vandal men's tennis team fell, 5-2, in its final regular season match Saturday afternoon at Eastern Washington. Idaho posted one doubles win and a pair of victories in singles action.
Dropping the doubles point, Idaho scored one doubles win in duo Esteban Santibanez and Guilherme Scarpelli's 6-2 victory over the Eagles. The win evens their season record at 2-2.
Santibanez finished strong with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at singles No. 2. The junior balanced out his season record at 9-9.
Lucas Coutinho earned the last victory of the day for the Vandals with thrilling three-setter on court four.
