Vandals Drop Overtime Heartbreaker to Bengals

POCATELLO, Idaho. – The Idaho (0-17, 0-14 BSC) men's basketball team fell in overtime, 64-58, to Idaho State (11-7, 7-3 BSC) on Saturday afternoon.

THE GAME
The Vandals held a three-point lead with 11 seconds to play, but Daxton Carr hit a deep, contested three to tie up the game and send it to overtime. The Bengals pulled away in the extra period, earning the victory.

The Vandals scored their first points of the day over four minutes into the game, but their defense stymied the Bengals, and the home team led, 6-2, with 15:48 to play.
