MOSCOW, Idaho - Northern Arizona came out strong taking the lead in the second minute and held on to defeat the Vandals 90-67. Beyonce Bea scored a team high 17 points followed by Sarah Brans with a career-high 14.
The Vandals earned their only lead 20 seconds into the game with two free throws from Bea. Shortly after, NAU got rolling and could not miss. The Lumberjacks shot 50% (9-18) from the field, 33.3% (1-3) from three-point range and 2-2 from the line. The Vandals attempted more shots but could not finish tonight.
