SPOKANE, Wash.— The Idaho women's tennis team (1-2, 0-0 BSC) fell to Gonzaga (3-3,0-0 WCC) 6-1 on Saturday at the Stevens Center.
The Zags controlled the doubles point winning all three matches to take an early 1-0 lead heading into singles action.
Partners Melissa Huchet and Andrea Redondo were the first to finish in doubles play, as the pair fell to Tiegan Aitken and Kianna Oda, 6-2. The Zags kept the momentum at the No. 1 doubles position, defeating Ke Syuan Jhang and Ines Oliveira, 6-4.
