SACRAMENTO- California – The University of Idaho Volleyball team fell to Sacramento State, in the second game of the series on Sunday night, 3-1. The Vandals (4,4,2-2) fell behind to the Hornets (5-3,5-3) 2-0 in the match before winning the third set. The comeback bid fell short for the Vandals, falling 25-21 in the fourth set and 3-1 in the match.
Kennedy Warren led the Vandals with 11 kills in the match. She also had four total blocks. Peyten Ely totaled 25 assists and Donne'e Janzen had 11. Alaina Lacey had a team-high 17 digs while Avery Housley and Ely chipped in 11 and 10, respectively.
