CHENEY, Wash. – Idaho came up short on the road at Eastern Washington Saturday afternoon, 3-1. The Vandals dropped to 6-8 on the season and 5-6 in Big Sky play after the weekend split. Idaho took a 1-0 lead to begin the match in a wild, come-from-behind, 31-29 win in the first set. Eastern Washington went on to win the next three sets for the 3-1 match win.
Avery Housley led the Vandals with 15 kills, continuing a big weekend. Kennedy Warren added 12 kills and 10 digs while Munday chipped in 10 kills.
