BEAVERTON, Ore. – Idaho women's tennis dropped its first conference match of the season, falling to Portland State, 4-3, on Monday. The Vandals move to 4-8 on the season and 2-1 in Big Sky action.
Idaho opened doubles play by splitting the first two matches with the Vikings at No. 2 and No. 3. Andrea Redondo and Saffron Dowse earned a 6-4 win, but PSU was able to outlast the Vandals at the No. 1 spot with a 7-6 verdict to earn the doubles point.
Portland State went ahead 2-0 after earning a victory at No.
