The University of Idaho women's golf team earned an NCAA Public Recognition Award based on its most recent Academic Progress Rate.
The Vandal women, runners-up in the Big Sky post-season tournament after a playoff hole, continued to be a high achieving team in the classroom as well as on the golf course. This is the team's fifth such honor since its inception in 2008-09.
"I am very proud of this team's commitment to both academics and athletics," coach Lisa Johnson said. "The University of Idaho provides an amazing student-athlete experience with outstanding academic support within the department.
