LAHAINA, Hawaii – A second-half Vandal rally came up short and the Idaho women's basketball team fell 75-64 to UNI in the second game of the Maui Jim Classic at the Lahaina Civic Center on the island of Maui in Hawaii.
Allison Kirby continued her strong play, leading the Vandals with 19 points on 7-10 shooting from the field and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Sydney Gandy scored 13 points and Ashlyn Wallace added 10 points.
UNI jumped out to an early lead behind a 19-0 run. The Panthers led by 22 at the half but Idaho rallied, chipping away to cut the lead to 62-55 with 1:42 left in the game on a layup by Gandy.
