MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandals have announced another member to Idaho Track and Field's 2024 class. Shawn Twusami Ampofo of Chelmsford, United Kingdom is a talented jumper that competed previously at Brunel University London.
Ampofo finished the 2023 season with third-place finishes at the British University Outdoor Championships and the British U23 Championships. He swept the Welsh National Championships outdoors and indoors, earning first-place finishes. Ampofo served as the treasurer and co-captain of his team for the 2023-24 season.
Ampofo boasts personal best performances of 14.98m in the triple jump and 6.47m in the long jump.
