MOSCOW, Idaho - Six Vandals were victorious at the DI Invitational Team Challenge Friday, in the Kibbie Dome as Idaho women's track and field finished second and the men took third in the final home meet of the indoor track season. Idaho asserted its dominance in the women's jumps and the men's throws.
Zack Short broke his own Big Sky Conference indoor record in winning the shot put with a throw of 19.01 meters (62-4.5). Short's mark is an inch and a half better than his previous best set earlier this month, and two inches farther than the previous Big Sky record which was set in 2007.
