MOSCOW, Idaho – University of Idaho men's golf coach David Nuhn announced the signing of Central Florida transfer Tom Stephens, a native of Truro in Cornwall, England.
Stephens comes to Idaho as a redshirt sophomore after playing in three tournaments for the Knights as a true freshman in 2022-23.
The Englishman has an outstanding junior record. He made the British Boys Championship round of 16 and took fourth in the Boys Peter McEvoy Trophy both in 2021.
In 2023, he was the runner-up at the Midland Youth Championship and made the quarterfinals of the English Amateur Championship.
