PROVO, Utah—The Vandal men's tennis team took to the courts this week at Brigham Young University for the ITA Mountain Regional. Mark Kovacs and Carlos Longhi Neto each advanced to the round of 16 in singles play to lead the Idaho contingency.
The pair also was the top Idaho team in the doubles bracket. The duo finished with a 3-1 record, advancing to the quarterfinals. The pair opened with an 8-6 win over Weber State's Nick Werner and Michiel Van Schoor. They next scored over Montana's Max Korkh and Ludvig Hallgren to advance to the round of 16.
