CHENEY, Wash. – The Vandal cross country teams opened the 2021 season at the Clash of the Inland Northwest on Friday morning. Both Idaho teams finished second behind Gonzaga. Maya Kobylanski took second in the women's race.
The Vandal women were second with 38 points, trailing Gonzaga, who finished with 28 points. Kobylanski was second in the 4k race, finishing in 14:21.3, just behind Sadie Tuckwood who won the race for Gonzaga. Nell Baker finished in fifth in 14:46.1, while Nathalia Campos was seventh (14:51.
