MOSCOW, Idaho – Five Vandals scored in double figures, and the Idaho men's basketball team shot 51 percent from the field to help earn its first win of the 2024-25 season with a 96-60 victory over Northwest University on Monday night inside the ICCU Arena.
The Vandals opened the first half with seven straight points but Northwest hung around for the remainder of the half, trailing 46-34 at the break.
Despite shooting 51 percent (18-35) in the first 20 minutes, Idaho could not break through offensively as they would have liked, due to a 4-15 effort from behind the 3-point line.
