MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team battled back from down 21 points to make it a two possession game in the closing minutes of the second half, but Weber State ultimately held on to secure a 73-65 win on Thursday night at ICCU Arena.
Fifth year guard was a major catalyst in helping the Vandals get back within striking distance, as he knocked down four of his five three-pointers in the final eight minutes to finish with a season-high 17 points. Smith cut the Weber State lead to five (70-65) with 47 seconds to go in the game, but Idaho was unable to knock down another shot as the comeback came up short.
