MOSCOW, Idaho – It’s another basketball sweep as Geraldine McCorkell and Victor Sanders have been named the Idaho Vandals Athletes of the Week. Both played major roles over the weekend, as the women’s basketball team picked up a tough road sweep and the men’s team earned a split at home.
McCorkell helped lead Idaho to a 2-0 record on the road last week. She averaged 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the Vandals’ wins at Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. The Australian sophomore posted 13 points and nine rebounds to open the week at NAU.
