PULLMAN, Wash. - Sophomore Vicky Tsai took advantage of a familiar course to post the best tournament score of her career and finish 12th at the WSU Cougar Cup Tuesday, at Palouse Ridge Golf Course on the campus of nearby Washington State. Tsai led Idaho women's golf with a 70 in the final round, dropping her tournament total to 3-under (213). The best 54-hole score of her career helped the Vandals finish 12th as a team at 21-over.
Junior Valeria Patino continued her steady play with a final-round 73. Patino finished the tournament at 1-under, tying for 16th.
