SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Idaho got out to a great start at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Preliminary Rounds, with three Vandals competing.
Rechelle Meade finished first among the Vandal women, taking 35th overall with a leap of 5.76 meters (18-10.75). She entered the meet ranked 37th in the West. Freshman Henrike Fiedler finished 42nd at 5.59 meters (18-4.25). The duo are ranked one-two in program history in the event, with Fiedler holding the slight edge for the school record at 6.
