Idaho track and field traveled south for a successful weekend at the Triton Invitational in La Jolla, California.
A number of Idaho athletes finished with personal-bests and improved Big Sky standings.
Sophomore Austin Beyer closed the weekend with Idaho’s top performance after a personal-best throw of 60.55 in the javelin to take third amongst Division I athletes. His performance moved him into fourth place in the Big Sky standings.
Sophomore Jonny Magee finished with two top-five titles in the long jump and the triple jump. Magee took fourth in the long jump invitational with a leap of 6.
