MOSCOW, Idaho – A spirited first half from the oldest player on the team and an offensive outburst from the youngsters in the second led Idaho past Sacramento State, 94-90, in the final home contest of the season.

The first half was as exciting a game as the Vandal faithful could ask for, with six lead changes and two ties and neither team getting up by more than seven. carried the load in the opening frame, scoring 17 points in 17 minutes of action. Sacramento State reclaimed the lead inside the final minute, but Idaho took it right back to go into the locker room up, 37-36.
