OGDEN, Utah (March 23, 2016)- For his strong play at the Desert Shootout last week, Idaho golfer Daniel Sutton is this week's Big Sky Men's Golfer of the Week.
Sutton shot a 54-hole total of 210 (-6), finishing with a one-under-par 71 in his final round, to complete the tournament tied for 18th place. The tournament was played at the par-72 Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
While Sutton led the Vandals, Idaho was edged by two strokes in the tournament by Big Sky foe Northern Colorado. The Bears finished in ninth place, with Joshua Matz and Steven Kupcho finishing a stroke behind Sutton.
