Idaho, playing in its first true road game of the season, was unable to recover against Texas Tech. The Lady Raiders converted a season-high 12 3-pointers to end the Vandals’ four-game winning streak, 78-62.
Texas Tech (6-1) opened the first quarter on a 9-0 run, holding the Vandals off the scoreboard for the game’s first 6:31. Senior Ali Forde hit Idaho’s first field goal with 3:29 to play in the period, making it a 9-2 deficit.
