TEMPE, Ariz.—Six student-athletes from the Idaho men's and women's tennis teams were honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association with the announcement of its All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athlete award winners.
Mark Kovacs, Esteban Santibanez and Lucas Coutinho earned scholar-athlete recognition for the men. The Idaho women earned All-Academic team honors, while Marianna Petrei, Maria Tavares and Shion Watabe picked up individual honors.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.
