FARMINGTON, Utah – Zack Short has been named the Big Sky Conference Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Short won the shot put at the Idaho Invitational this weekend. His mark of 19.21m/63'0.25" was a season's best for the senior. It also puts him first in the Big Sky and 18th on the national performance list.
The Vandals will next compete at the Buc Scoring Invitational on Friday, April 30, Spokane. It will be their final meet before the Big Sky Championships which will be held May 12-15 in Ogden.
