RESULTS Short's first throw was his best. He threw 18.63 meters (61-1.5) to open the competition and finished 15th overall. Payton Otterdahl of North Dakota State won the event with a throw of 21.71 meters (71-2.75). Short owns the Big Sky record in the event after throwing 19.81 meters (65-0.00) at the Big Sky Indoor Championships to win the event two weeks ago.
