RENO, Nev.—Idaho is set to open the 2016 Big Sky Tournament on Wednesday (8:05 p.m. PT) against the No. 6 seeded Weber State Wildcats. The Vandals earned a first-round bye by finishing the regular season as the conference’s No. 3 seed. Idaho will be looking to make a run to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in three seasons.
About the Opponent: Weber State cruised by Portland State, 91-68, in its opening round game on Monday. Four Wildcats scored in double figures , led by Yarden Danan’s 24 points.The Match-Up: Idaho has won three consecutive meetings against the Wildcats.
