INDIAN WELLS, Calif.—Idaho junior Marianna Petrei is one of 64 singles players set for the 2017 Oracle ITA Fall Championships this week. The tournament hosted at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden as well as the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa gets underway on Wednesday.
Petrei, ranked No. 71 in the ITA's preseason standings, qualified for the tournament with her run at the ITA Mountain Regionals earlier this month. She won the tournament's main draw, earning one of 24 automatic bids. Petrei has wins over four ranked opponents this fall, including No.
