ITA RELEASE Petrei finished last season ranked No. 32 in the nation by the ITA and became the first Vandal ever to compete in the NCAA Singles Championship. Petrei advanced to the round of 32, winning her first match of the Championship. Petrei is the only student-athlete from the Big Sky and is one of just three from outside the Power Five.
TEMPE, Ariz. – Senior tennis star, Marianna Petrei, continues to move up the national rankings. She will start the 2018-19 season with the highest Intercollegiate Tennis Association ranking of her career, as the No. 20 player in the country.
