FLAGSTAFF, Arizona – There was no stopping Alyssa Peters on Sunday as the Idaho women's soccer team picked up a valuable 3-2 win at Northern Arizona.
Peters ascended to the top of the Big Sky record books with two assists to tie, then later break, the conference's all-time assists record, and sandwiched a goal of her own in between to spark the Vandals (9-4-2, 3-1-1 BSC).
NAU (2-6-4, 2-2 BSC) opened the scoring in the 17th minute when Erin O'Connor collected a loose ball in the box after a long NAU free kick and slipped it past Idaho goalkeeper Paula Flores.
