Idaho women’s basketball early exit of the WNIT put a damper on a season of what could have been.
The big highlight of this game comes from junior guard Mikayla Ferenz. Getting a chance to play on the same court that her father was a standout player for, Ferenz broke the Idaho single-season scoring record held previously by Emily Faurholt.
Ferenz finished the game with 18 points to contribute to her 742 points on the season.
It has been a roller coaster of a year for the Vandals, backed by the big three of Ferenz, junior guard Taylor Pierce and senior post Geraldine McCorkell.
