CORVALLIS, Ore.—Oregon State showed why they are ranked No. 7 in the nation on Saturday. The Beavers controlled the game from start to finish, beating Idaho for the second year in a row at Gill Coliseum, 69-44.
The Vandals shot a season low 20.3 percent (13-of-64) from the field. Saturday marked the first time an Idaho team was unable to hit at least 15 field goals since playing No. 1 UConn in the 2013 NCAA Tournament (14 FGs made).
“Defensively, we did exactly what we wanted to do,” head coach Jon Newlee commented.
