INDIANAPOLIS – Two University of Idaho teams earned Public Recognition Awards from the NCAA Wednesday, for their most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores. Idaho's women's cross country and women's golf programs each garnered Public Recognition Awards. Teams must rank in the top 10 percent of their sport, nationally, to receive the honor.
"My hat's off to our women's cross country and golf programs," said Interim Director of Athletics Pete Isakson. "These teams continue to set the standard for Vandal Athletics. They perform at a high level in competition, in classroom and in life.
