MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho men's tennis returned to the P1FCU Kibbie Dome this weekend to open Big Sky play against the Eastern Washington Eagles with a 7-0 win, their second of the season.
The black and gold came out strong in doubles with Sebastian Medica and Chetanna Amadike taking a 6-1 victory and Gabriel Moroder and Eric Wang winning a tie break to secure the doubles point for the Vandals.
Idaho continued their success in singles play with Medica (6-2, 6-2), Amadike (6-3, 6-4) Moroder (6-4, 6-7, 10-6, 8-6), Wang (6-1, 6-0), Francisco Gay (6-3, 3-6, 6-4) and Yu-Shun Lai (6-3, 6-2) all claiming wins to help power the Vandals to the sweep.
