Men's Hoops Fall to Washington State

MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team fell to Washington State, 109-61, on Thursday night at ICCU Arena. Senior Mikey Dixon tallied his fourth consecutive double-digit performance with 12 points while forward Tanner Christensen added seven points in his first action of the season.

The Vandals opened up the game strong, holding an early 6-2 lead following back-to-back 3-pointers from Dixon and Gabe Quinnett. The Cougars would respond with a 24-4 run to put Idaho down 26-10 with just under nine minutes to play in the first half.

The Vandals were able to find some rhythm on the offensive end and fend off another run from Washington State as Idaho found themselves down 47-29 at the half.
