KOHLER, Wis. – University of Idaho sophomore Daniel Sutton remains among the leaders at the NCAA Kohler Regional at Blackwolf Run – Meadow Valley, while the Vandals are the verge of earning a position in the championship meet.
Sutton added an even-par 72 to his opening 69 for a two-day total 141 and third with 18 holes to play in the regional tournament. His up-and-down round included four birdies and four bogeys and leaves him just three strokes off the pace by two-day leader Alejandro Tosti of Florida, who is at 138.
Idaho was tied for the team lead after the first 18 holes and enters the final 18 in fifth after a second-round 299.
