Idaho fans got more entertainment than they bargained for on Thursday night.
In a game that featured multiple double-digit runs, The Vandals persevered through a back and forth second half to take a 69-68 win against Sacramento State.
Idaho came into the game heavily favored by ESPN’s win probability model, and they looked the part for most of the first half. After going blow-for-blow with the Hornets through the first 15 minutes of the half, the Vandals (10-5, BSC 2-1) began to pick it up. With four and a half minutes to go in the first half, Idaho went on a 14-2 run to close out the half leading 37-29.
