Men 5th, Women 8th at Big Sky Championships

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Idaho picked up another individual win and several more podiums on Saturday, closing competition strong at the 2019 Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships. The men finished with 49.5 points in fifth, while the women scored 53 points and finished eighth, for the best finishes since rejoining the Big Sky.

For the second day, a Vandal came out on top in the shot put. Hannah Ringel had a huge personal best of 14.89 meters (48-10.25) to narrowly beat Weber State's Sophie Merritt by less than two inches.
