McCormick Named FCS ADA Scholar-Athlete of the Year

The Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) announced that former University of Idaho safety, Tommy McCormick, received the 24th Annual Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.

"On behalf of the FCS ADA, I would like to congratulate this year's recipients for their outstanding dedication to both academic and athletic excellence. This is a remarkable achievement that deserves recognition," said FCS ADA President Mark Benson, Director of Athletics at the University at Albany.

One of only two award recipients, Idaho's star safety was chosen from 52 FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team honorees and eleven finalists to receive a $5,000 postgraduate scholarship.
