OGDEN, Utah - Idaho senior Enrique Marin and freshman Joel Veenstra shared Big Sky Golfer of the Week honors, the league announced Wednesday. Marin and Veenstra each shot 4-under at the GCU Invitational over the weekend, tying for 11th. It is the sixth weekly award of Marin's career - second of the season - and the first such honor for Veenstra.
Marin got out to a fast start at the tournament, posting a pair of 3-under 68s Friday, through the first two rounds. He carded seven birdies and just one bogey over 36 holes.
