Sophomore Enrique Marin finished in a tie for fifth at the Bob Sitton Invitational as the University of Idaho men's golf team climbed three positions with one of their best rounds of the spring.
"I'm very excited for Enrique to finish in the top five," coach David Nuhn said. "He played great golf. Had he been holing putts in that second round, he might have come close to winning. It's great to see him playing to his ability."
Marin had rounds of 68-77-69 for his one-over 214. Senior Ryan Porch turned in his best round of the tournament with a 72 to finish at 227 and in a tie for 65th.
