EL MECERO, Calif. – Enrique Marin had a final round 77 to tie for 10th at the El Mecero Classic as the Vandals also finished 10th in the tournament that wrapped up Friday.
"This course is very fair but punishing of missed shots," coach David Nuhn said. "That's the way it should be. We want to hit quality shots and best tested in the right ways."
Nuhn said, despite inclement weather adding to the degree of difficulty, he liked what he saw in his young team.
"I was really proud of the fight in them today," he said.
