BOULDER CITY, Nev.- Idaho men's golf junior Enrique Marin was named to the All-Big Sky Conference First Team Wednesday, as the league announced its annual awards on the eve of the Big Sky Championships. Marin, a second-team choice in 2017, tied for the conference lead with four Big Sky Golfer of the Week awards this season.
A native of Sotogrande, Spain, Marin was Idaho's top competitor all season. Through the regular season he has posted the team's lowest score in 26 of 30 rounds played and claimed six top-25 finishes. Marin's play was marked by consistency throughout the year, carding 14 rounds at or under par and recording a season scoring average of 72.
