SPOKANE, Wash. – SPOKANE, Wash. – The Vandals had another successful weekend at the Podium as Lorenz Herrmann broke the 31-year-old school record in the indoor 800-meter run by half a second at the Lilac Grand Prix with a time of 1:48.07. The rest of the team followed up with a successful day of competition at the Inland Northwest Invitational.
Reflecting on the weekend, Coach Tim Cawley beamed, "I thought we had a solid weekend. I thought they competed great, the ones that were out there. It's awesome to see Lorenz go two weeks in a row, breaking school records.
