RENO, Nevada – The Vandal women's soccer team defeated the University of Nevada, 1-0 on Thursday Night. Karli Yoshida-Williams scored the go-ahead goal in the last minute, marking her second goal of the year.
The first 45' concluded in a stalemate as both teams struggled to have quality chances on goal. Idaho ripped off five shots on goal, but all from 25 or more yards out. The Vandals' best chance came from a free kick shot by Hannah Alfaro-Black that was rocketed to the upper left corner, but the Wolfpack's keeper made a diving save.
