Senior guard Victor Sanders took a major step forward in 2016-17, upping his scoring to 20.9 points per contest, the fourth highest average in the Big Sky. It wasn't just his scoring that jumped, however, as he also saw a spike in his assist, rebound and steal totals as he transitioned to the point guard position. Sanders spent the spring entertaining the NBA dream, working out with a handful of teams during the draft process.
