MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's basketball team dropped their Saturday afternoon contest against Montana State. Asha Phillips and Kennedy Johnson led the offensive attack with both dropping points in the double digits. It was a record-breaking night for Phillips who scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed a season-high nine rebounds.
Idaho was off to a slow start, letting Montana State cruise through the first three minutes of play on an 8–0 run. A pair of turnovers and a few missed scoring opportunities later, the Vandals trailed 2-12 at the media timeout.
