MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandals have announced another member to Idaho Track and Field's 2024 class. Beatriz Ferreira of Belo Horizonte, Brazil is a NJCAA Division I outdoor championships finalist in the women's shot put and hammer throw.
Ferreira finished her two seasons at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas and will join the Vandals in the fall. At the 2024 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, she placed fourth and seventh in the shot put and hammer throw, respectively. She recorded personal bests in both events with a mark of 14.
