PULLMAN, Wash. – Idaho swimming made the short drive to Pullman to take on Washington State in a dual meet on Friday night. The Vandals dropped its regular season finale to the Cougars, 162-92.
Despite the loss, the Vandals posted solid performances throughout the meet that included nine runner-up finishes.
Ella Haskins and Kaling Phung headlined Friday's effort for the Vandals with two second-place finishes each. Haskins clocked in at 23.73 in the 50-yard free and 51.41 in the 100-yard free to finish second in both races. A top scorer on the night for Idaho, Phung placed second in the 200-yard back (2:06.
