POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Big Sky Conference championship. The Vandals won four events and had numerous top-eight finishes.
Hannah Ringel claimed the shot put title with a throw of 15.45 meters. Both Maya Kobylanski Lorenz Herrmann pulled away for big wins in their respective events. Kobylanski won the 3000-meter steeplechase(10:23.33) and Herrmann cruised in the 800m(1:48.47). Spencer Barrera won by nearly a second in the 400-meters with a time of 46.36.
Overall, the Vandal men finished third with 100 points.
